There's more wildlife than just bears. We saw a couple of these arctic hares, which blend almost perfectly with the snow apart from their eyes and the tips of their ears. They seem to rely on immobility and invisibility for defence, because you can get to within a couple of feet of them. We also saw arctic foxes and silver foxes, but they move quickly and we didn't get good photos of them.
