Here's a bear in his native habitat. He seems to be looking at the camera, but he probably isn't. They seem to take very little notice of the buses or tourists, although occasionally they climb up on the wheels to see if there's anything interesting going on. It is absolutely forbidden - on pain of being airlifted out from the bus! - to try to feed the bears, the problem being that otherwise they become habituated and can eventually become a danger to people, which sadly ends very badly for the bear.
